Vitinia

Our Estate in Vitinia is a Govt-managed resource area providing excellent hunting opportunities for a variety of species including Mouflon, Fallow, Red Deer, Wolves and Wild Boar. It is located approx I hour from the capital; Sophia and is situated in the Balkan Mountains.

Hunting for trophies can be conducted on foot where fair-chase walk-and-stalk is conducted or from high seats and blinds where Bow Hunting can also be conducted too.

Some species including Mouflon and Fallow are contained within enclosed areas, as too are the Tibetan Yak which may also be taken. These fenced areas exceed 1500 acres, of which there are two although the total area of this hunting ground exceeds 22000Ha (or 55,000 acres) and the largest of the red stags taken here in recent years was in the un-fenced area and it weighed some 10.2kgs!

In terms of Driven-Boar Hunting, this is possible at Vitinia although there must be a balance between free-roaming areas and fenced areas since the populations need to be managed in both regions. This does also mean that clients can be formed of perhaps smaller groups than required in places like Poland and Croatia and parties are ensured plenty of action, especially since the populations within the Yak enclosure are plentiful, so we would hope that everyone will get a shooting chance as a result.

Guest accommodation is very comfortable and has benefitted from recent refurbishment as you will see from the images opposite.

Vitinia is idea for trophy hunting and for smaller groups looking for Driven sport.
