Game Fishing in Africa
Africa is a world of adventure and for some this is best experienced through the 'scope of a rifle or lens of a camera but for many, experiencing the wide variety of Fishing and Angling opportunities is reason enough to make the journey, and with some of Africa's best fishing destinations available why not let The Hunting Agency arrange your next Angling Adventure!
We currently have three destinations available for Anglers including Sea Fishing off Namibia's Skeleton Coast, Freshwater Fishing for Tiger Bream and Catfish on the Kavango and Game Fishing off the Coast of Mozambique, so lets start there.
Mozambique
Your hosts will be Charl and Frederik from Infinito and you will be fishing from their Charter Boat of the same name where species including Tuna Marlin Sailfish Baracuda and Dorado are all available. We have packages for a min of two persons (max 3 Anglers) which provides for 7 days fishing (and 6 nights) from £900 per person. Packages such as these are inclusive of food, accomodation fishing permits boat tackle and bait although transfers and alcohol is specifically excluded.
Kavango, Namibia
We have some fabulous fishing available in the Kavango region of Namibia on the Okavango River where you can fish for Tiger Fish, Bream and Catfish while staying in a modest fishermans lodge for the duration of your stay. Your hosts will be Nico and Vasti Badenhorst from Eldoret Hunting and if you would like to combine your fishing trip with some trophy hunting, this is also possible. Daily rates for fishing are $335 / day (circa £200) which provides for a professional Angling guide, accomodation, boat hire, tackle, bait and meals with airport transfers and alcohol specifically excluded, but please fel fre to contact us when we will be delighted to put together a package for you.
Kwazulu Natal, South Africa
The Mawana Wildlife Reserve in Kwazulu Natal has been redeveloped for Trophy and Bow Hunting by former World Field Archery Champion, Beyers Coetzee and while his skills with a bow are well known, his love of Bass Fishing may well not be. The Mawana Wildlife Reserve has been allowed to mature slowly over the last 8 years and the River which runs through the estate offered the opportunity to create an environment loved by the resident Elephant and Hippo with a second 'Dam' created and filled with Bass. Fast-forward six years and this place is jumping with them, and Anglers can borrow an Estate Rifle if they fancy a spot of hunting too!
Skeleton Coast, Namibia
Finally we have some excellent sea fishing available on Namibia's unspoilt Skeleton Coast where you can either Beach-cast or fish from Boats for a wide variety of species including Cob, Steebbras, Galjoen, Black Tail and the famous Bronze Whaler Shark that this coast is particularly known for. We have som fabulous accomodation available for you to compliment some of the most amazing fishing you will ever experience and daily rates again start from circa £200 per day inclusive of accomodation tackle, bait etc and we will be delighted to put together a quotation for you on request.
