The Kaminjab Region of Namibia is situated in the North West of the Country just South of Kaokoland, North of Damaraland and West of the Etosha Conservancy and as a result boasts a diverse range of species to hunt and environments over which to hunt them. We represent approx 25000Ha in the Loxodonta Africana Conservancy which is situated in the Kunene Region, some of which is situated in the Mountains with a further 8000Ha of flat plains not dissimilar to the landscape of the Etosha Pan.
We have two camps to choose from, one of which is known locally as 'Elephant Camp' due to the regularity of incursion by some of Namibia's famous Desert Elephant and while we were last in this region we were hunting in relatively close proximity to 29 Elephant which makes this a truely memorable location to visit.
Some of this region has significant granite Koppies or mountains but it is relatively easy to scale them in search of either Klipspringer or Baboon or maybe just to gain a better vantage point to spot plains game and the region like Etosha just screams Leopard as this is the spotted cat's perfect habitat.
The Elephant Camp is finely appointed with individual guest chalets and a more challenging hilly and mountainous terrain to hunt over although we tend to use 4x4's to traverse the region before stopping to dismount and stak as appropriate.
Our 'Home' camp has two twin rooms and is pleasingly appointed and comfortable with food being of the highest quality too. It is also worth of note that your hosts, John and Juliana are both genuinely warm and welcoming individuals who will go the extra yard to make your visit pleasurable and fun.
The Kaminjab region is also a haven for Bow Hunters with many hides and towers specifically designed for bow hunting in this fantastic location.
